Hello,
i have a critical problem with the infinite scroll. It seems there is a problem with some jpg file that a JS is not able to find.
To check the issue:
Please visit this link:
https://www.ferrarisboutique.com/gb/men-lace-up-shoes/
scroll down and choose one product. Then go back, and try to scroll down. You have to find all men lace up shoes, regardless there are products from other categories.
This issue occurs with apple devices.
Checking the safari console i could check that there is a loop.
Attached you can find a screenshot of this issue.
Hi,
That is not a bug. For some reason default images are missing on your site, they might be deleted by accident. Go the /img/p/ folder to see if there are images of every image type for every language? They will be automatically created when regenerating thumbnails.
See attached screenshot.
Best regards.
Jonny
Thank you for reply Jonny.
I’ve already fixed that issue. In fact, on the console developer there is no more warning about jpg files.
On safari I still have a navigation problem, as i told you in a previous messagge if i visit for example a category page, scroll down and visit one product, if i go back to the category page and scroll down i see products that are not in that category, this issue is very unpleasant for the UX.
Can you take a look about this? On the developer console theres is an error about a file called: “/themes/core.js.map”. Do you think this issue appears because that file is not found?
Best regards.
Hi,
1. I can not reproduce the problem navigation problem. Here is a video to show products were the same as before when I went back from a product page http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cb62hYIHxF Could you tell me how to reproduce the problem, I would like to know if the problem does exist.
2. PrestaShop did not include that file in the installation page, currently it only exists in the PrestaShop’s development verion https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/blob/develop/themes/core.js.map
Don’t worry, your site can work fine without it.
Regards.
Jonny
Hello Jonny,
i saw the video but i seems that you’ve used Chrome. I’ve tested with Chrome and Mozilla and there is no bug, everything is ok.
Using safari (Mobile & Desktop) there is the bug. And we have a lot of customers with Apple’s devices.
I realized a screenshot video and send you we we transfer so you can see by yourself the error.
Let me know ho do you think about it.
Best regards.
Hi Jonny,
i was not able to reproduce the issue correctly because the products on that demo are assigned all to every category. There is no difference about the content of each category.
So if i visit two different categories i see the same products in the same order, so even if there was a bug i cannot be able to noticed it.
regards.
