Hello,
I installed the actually version of Transformer (v3.3.1 – last update at 1 oktober 17).
Prestashop 1.6.1.17.
The problem is that at first time or if browser cache is empty, the Website download time is about 22 seconds!!!!! I tried this with Chrome, Firefox and Opera.
No one client will wait so much time.
The website is on own proprietary server with Intel Xeon E3-1246v3, 16 GB RAM, MySQL on SSD, server and site use the http-2. Using PHP 7.0.20 fpm fast CGI.
There are only about 100 products, no variations.
Dear owner of the theme TRANSFORMER, please tell us about the first load time or the load time of yours Prestashop with theme Transformer in browser with empty cache.
Best regards, Viaceslav.
I would also be interested in seeing this load time.
I am running a very similar setup to yours (server) and my homepage loading on cache empty is 1.3 seconds.
After the cache is full, my homepage loads in 533 milliseconds.
And I have A LOT going on in my homepage.
I am not great with the coding part of the Transformer theme, but I am great at configuring and building servers for e-commerce.
I’d love to help.

Hi,
The slow loading problem does exist on your site, but it’s probably not a problem of Transformer theme.
1. Add a media server to your site would speed your site up a lot, check the “How to speed your site up?” section on this page http://panda2.sunnytoo.com/doc/index.php#prestashop
2. Please check if “mod_expires” is enabled on your server.
Best regards.
Jonny
Hi,
2. Please check if “mod_expires” is enabled on your server.
Hello,
how can I check this?
The phpinfo() displays only 2 values about the expire word:
1) In section “Sessions”:
session.cache_expire: local value and master value = 180
2) In section memcached:
memcached.sess_lock_expire: local value and master value = 0
Hi,
1. Add a media server to your site would speed your site up a lot, check the “How to speed your site up?” section on this page http://panda2.sunnytoo.com/doc/index.php#prestashop
I’ve read this section but I don’t understand how it work.
Ok, this is not a problem to made one or more empty subdomains or domains on my server and enter it URLs at media server section. It’s all? But must I move the images or another content to the media servers. I can’t find the info to understanding how it works and step by step instructions how can I to configure and use the media server.
Best regards, Viaceslav.
2. Please check if “mod_expires” is enabled on your server.
Now I have the answer from my provider. They write the mod_expires is a standard module of Apache server and is installed and activated.
You just need to create a subdomain, and then enter it at media servers section, that’s all. Try and let me know the result.
Hello,
I added one subdomain on my server as a media server at Prestashop back office.
The CCC Cache is enebled.
The result is the transformer page laoyut is destroyed.
See attachments.
Best regards, Viaceslav
Hello,
Just to help you ,that was what I have faced, then provided assistance by Jonny ,was sorted out.
His suggestions;
1. Change you sub domain folder to your installation folder of your domain,
2. Add a .htaccess file to your sub domain folder, and redirect all requests from created sub domain to main domain
3. Add a new packed domain to your domain
The 3rd way is the easiest.
Hopefully will help you too,
Hi,
That’s a problem of the media server url you added.
Upload a picture named 123.jpg to your site’s root folder, then you can surely reach it by http://yourdomain/123.jpg, try if you can reach it by http://mediaserver3.continent.shop/123.jpg. That’s the simplest way to check if a media server is validate.
Best regards.
Jonny
