The module doesn’t cache ajax request. the A4 module is using ajax to load data, please see the article to speed up the ajax requests: https://www.sunnytoo.com/40385/pagination-slow-switching-combination-slow-ajax-requests-slow-prestashop-site
Thanks – my mistake then. We already have gzip enabled. So must just be the volume of data being filtered.
Can I ask – is there a way to “warm” the cache in your module? Another module I used for prestashop had a warm cache filter by cron which would “visit” every page to refresh the cache, This could be done in the middle of the night when the site was quite, and eveything nice and fast in the morning for the first visitors
This is an example of a cachce warmer. I have tried this and it works great. So if you can provde the clear cache URL we can run that via cron and then immediatley run a cron to do the warming
