In blog view next or previous button doesn’t show expected articles.Bug is in Panda 1 and 2 version aswell.
It doesn’t work on my site but in yours too.
As example go to your blog demo: http://panda2.sunnytoo.com/en/blog/9_how-to-stay-calm-when-your-business-is-booming.html
The article is from 2017 archive: http://panda2.sunnytoo.com/en/blog/2017
According to 2017 category view for that article:
Next must be the most recent:5 STEPS TO OPTIMIZE YOUR ONLINE SHOP’S PERFORMANCE
Previous must be: THIS POST DOES NOT ACCEPT COMMENTS
But next and previous buttons are showing articles from 2016: http://panda2.sunnytoo.com/en/blog/2016
Hi Yobo, you can’t see the problem because you have few blog articles in your demos.
Please check the blog in my site: https://cincelaser.com/blog/fotohistorias/
You see the blog posts of the category in chronological order.
Open last blog and use next/prev buttons. Doesn’t open the blog articles in chronological order!
Hi Yobo, there is a missunderstanding. You are changing how module displays blogs in screen but the behaivour of the buttons remains the same doesn’t matter my sorting preferences.
Prev and next buttons are sorting blogs internally as “by position” but I need them to work as my sort preferences in the module configuration, in my case “by date add: desc.”
Hi,
I changed the order by to “Position” instead of “date added”, it works fine now.
Best regards.
That’s was exactly the contrary I was looking for.
Hi,
The prev and next articles are sorted by position. if you want the orders are same as the category, you need to sort articles on the category by position. of course, you can change the sort by to “date add” instead of the “position”.
Best regards.
What I need is that prev and next buttons sort the articles by date add (like a newspaper blog does), not position. Is not possible to configure or add a “next in date” and “prev in date”, chronological behaviour?
