Steps to reproduce:
1) Go to front-end and submit any new email address that is not customer address: test1@gmail.com
2) Go to back-end into “Newsletter popup” module
3) Go inside “View subscribers”
4) Unsubscribe the test1@gmail from the list by clicking on the green check
5) I can’t find test1@gmail.com anywhere on back-end
6) Go to front-end and try to re-submit the same email address again: test1@gmail.com
7) WRONG behavior: The user can’t resubmit email. And Admin can’t find this email on back-end and remove it
I found work-around but I do not like it: to allow user to resubmit the same email address , someone needs to create a new customer with this email address from Front-End, then go to Admin site and unsubscribe the user from Newsletter inside of the Customer block.
In my understanding, the CORRECT algorithm supposed to remove the test1@gmail from database completely since the test1@gmail.com doesn’t belong to any customer.
