Hi guys,
I would like to buy your cache module and have some questions:
– Is the JavaScript cached also?
– If we use featured products in the homepage how can it be cached since it will be different each time?
– Is the googlemap will be cached?I’m using PS 1.7.3 and Panda 2.3 can I use the module on a live site without problems?
Thanks
Hi,
The module is a server-side cache component, that just cache the HTML code, but didn’t cache the js files and css files, as those files related the client browser performance, you can use CDN to speed up it. on the .htaccess file, Prestashop has added the static expired time already. if the HTML page was cached, there are a lot of modules and hooks didn’t be invoked anymore, and many database queries will be ignored, that will save the page regeneration time and reduce memory and CPU usage.
If you want to show modules(Featured module) dynamically, it is very easy to tick the module and hook on the module settings. the cache module didn’t cache the selected module, that will update the content each time when access the store.
If you have any concerns and problems, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Best regards.I can see the changes in my website monitoring tools (provider). As I told you, I’m agree that we can see some changes, better performances however I think there is something wrong as from time to time the website take HUGE time to load (more than 60sec) and it has to do with the cache module.
Cheers,Does the cache module reduce also the TTFB, please?
Yes it does. Definitely a good deal!
Hi,
@newpolaris Yes, the module is to reduce the page generation time, that will reduce the TTFB.
@youssefsadaoui Please send me your FTP and backoffice access in a private reply, I will check the issue for you.
Best regards.Yobo,
After some days, the issue disappear, I’m quite happy for this cache module it’s working well, thanks.
Do you think that it’s better to enable ‘compress cache’ or not, since most of the time hard disk space is not really the problem. I mean if compressing the cache will make the website slower, it’s better not to enable it? What do you think?Hi,
Thanks very much, you can write review on the “Reviews” tab: https://www.sunnytoo.com/product/advanced-page-cache-module-for-prestashop
Best regards.Hi Yobo
I have noticed a weird behaviour, when the page is in the cache, you can’t scroll on the image on the mobile version. If you want to scroll the page you have to use areas outside the image. I don’t know if my explanation is understandable?
Thx
