Dear Yobo,
I click on back button on browser.I’ve load a video of the bug here:
https://wetransfer.com/downloads/edb1ced8650705c86d2fb3b2d7ab1c1c20180228093427/3d614232469c065c5ee7d04f39ec0fa720180228093427/e146ac@ferrarisboutique and @felipe Check this https://metafizzy.co/blog/infinite-scroll-unbreaks-back-button/ What do you think about that solution.
Hi, (edited last message, please ignore it if you readed from email).
I FOUND MY SOLUTION.
Is a problem with facebook pixel.
Some part of the code forces reload page from product to category.
I attached the code in a txt file because server won’t let me post it here.
I removed it and now all browsers show the cached version of category page when click on back.
Do you know if google tag manager do the same? In case of not, I will use it instead of facebook directly to track facebook traffic.

@jonny
This maybe can fix the issue.Do you mind that this solution will also fix the problem with “load more button” and “Normal pagination” ?
Because we tried to use the normal pagination and load more button, but even with these options when i choose a product from a category/brand page when I go back, I don’t return where i was.
@ferrarisboutique when you click on a back button, you will take to exactly where you were, that’s the native behavior of all browsers, unless the behavior was changed by the “history.scrollRestoration” property which didn’t exist on your site, I’ve already checked.
See this video, I didn’t find the problem you reported. https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cFee6eDQcp@jonny, you didn’t find the problem because you’ve only visited the first page. If you use the load more products, to check the second page, third page, etc and then select a product and go in, when you go back you can see the bug.

Checking this behaviour i’ve also noticed another big bug, but i don’t know if they are related.
I’ve set my category product page with max 16 products per page. Now if i filter for a brand or category that have 22 products, i should see first page with 16 products, and the second page with 6, and then the button load more should disappeared.
Instead of that, the button remains, and if you click it again, it loads the same 6 latest products.
https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cFehXQD6LPPlease let me know what do you think about this, because these 2 issues are very annoying for the user experience.
@felipe do you have a module to integrate the Pixel’s Facebook?
Hi,
I don’t have any plugin, I just put the code in theme editor> custom codes > tracking code.
With the facebook pixel code allways reloads previous page if you’re on a product and back to a category.
If I remove it (now is without pixel), browsers sometimes reloads and sometimes not. I don’t understand this behavior.
@ferrarisboutique I knew a module called “fabvla facebook pixel”, you can take a look. I can let you know how to integrate it, I helped another customer integrated the module by editing one file. It seems that the module can work fine with Transformer theme and Panda theme.
@jonny thank you so much, i will take a look.
Did you take a look about those two bugs?
https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cFeh6ND6LQ
https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cFehXQD6LPI’m waiting to upgrade my store but i need to avoid these problems =)
Please let me know
1. I will try this solution to make Back button work https://metafizzy.co/blog/infinite-scroll-unbreaks-back-button/ which is the best one I’ve found so far.
2. Check on the #2 in the “Tips of using the Advanced search 4 module” section on this page. Currently Advanced search 4 can’t work with the Infinite scroll and Load more button features. I will take a look when I have time to see if it’s possible to make them work along.@jonny Dear Jonny, i’ve noticed there is an update of the theme, and into the changelog say this bug is solved, then i need only to updated the theme?
Yes I known that the infinite scroll option was not available, but with the previous version the load more button worked. Any way if everything work with the normal pagination, and the bug of back button is solved this would be great.
Let me know.
Regards.
I’ve fixed the back button problem. You can check on transformer theme’s demos to see they worked the way you wanted.
http://transformer2.sunnytoo.com/eighth/en/13-women-s-clothing
http://transformer2.sunnytoo.com/en/12-fashion
http://transformer2.sunnytoo.com/fourteenth/en/12-fashionYes, I’ve noticed it.
Then to fixed it I only have to update the theme?
I saw that now it works with the 3 pagination mode ( Normal, Infinite Scroll and Load More Button).
Everything works ok with the normal pagination, for example (http://transformer2.sunnytoo.com/en/12-fashion), each page has 9 items, so to move among all pages I have to use the arrows. Every time i go into a product page and then go back i return to the page i was.
I think we will use this mode. For the other two modes (infinite scroll and Load more button), there is a little bug regarding the User Experience. Now, the go back bug is solved but for example (http://transformer2.sunnytoo.com/eighth/en/13-women-s-clothing), in this page there are 42 items so there are 4 pages.
With load more button, the user didn’t noticed there are 4 pages, because the user only use the load more button. And then for example if a user click the load more products one time, it could be into the second page, and he can see 24 products.
If he choose one of the products of the second page, go to that product page and then go back, now he see all products of the second page (12 items), but he loose the previous 12 items, or in a general case all products of the previous pages. The user till that moment has never used the arrows to move inside the site, but now the load more button has dissappeared, the user maybe cannot understand what he have to do (use the arrows to go back or fordward between items of a category) and this maybe force him to abandon the website.
I tell you this because I notice you always improve your theme, and this is a very important issue for the user experience.
Let me know what do you think about this.
Really thank you to have fixed the go back bug 🙂
Please noticed i was wrong when i said the load more button disappear. Maybe I confused when the user arrives until the last page, and then logically there is no reason that button appears.
But remains the fact that the previous items are not visible. You can see the bug in that video.

Thank you again Jonny.
Hi,
That’s the best I can do currently do make load-more button, infinite scroll, back button and arrow buttons on the top right corner all work. Technically the only solution is to load products of all previous pages, and then put them to the top.
You can check twitter, they also didn’t find a perfect solution.
So I guess we can search for alternative solutions to let customers knows what’s going on and provide them buttons to go back to previous pages.
