Hi!
I have noticed a strange behavoir when using Advanced Search 4.12.2 module.
When I am entering a category it seems to be ok. My products are aligned in a grid 3×36. When I apply a filter (for example by manufacturer) it seems to be ok. But when I am starting to browse through the pages 1,2 etc. the order of the products are aligned in one vertical column and centerd in the central column. In the case of classic theme, i works fine.
Also, when I switch off the filter by manufacturers, it seems to show a full list of products. Could you please help to resolve tis issue.
Could you please help, because conversion and usability of the site suffers.
Hi,
I remembered I replied to you on my forum, I wanted to view the filters, but it was empty on your left column, so I can’t to identify the issue. can the filters show up now ? if yes, please send me your backoffice access and FTP in a private reply, I will track code to identify the issue.
Best regards.Yobo, could you check.
I’ve noticed, that after any cleanning a cache of PS, the settings (in the Design menu of PS) of the module to be shown in the left column of the page is dropped (the filter setuped in the full page mode).
May be that was the reason, why you didn’t see the filter in the proper place.
Perhaps these tunings of the module, but it also exis. Please, could you help?
Hi,
I am so sorry for the delay, as I have investigated your issue this days, but I can’t reproduce your issue, I tried enable or disable cache, but both worked fine. I clicked all filters, there were 3 products per line, just only I click the attributes that have 1 or 2 items, the result is 1 or 2 products, that is expected, see attached screenshot. so could you send me some screenshots to describe how I can reproduce ?
2. The cache issue is Prestashop bug, prestasop saved layout settings in the cache folder, if you clear the Smarty cache, the sidebar will disappear. there is a alternative way to fix it, edit /themes/panda/config/theme.yml file, add the codeindex: layout-left-column
in it, see attached screenshot,but the changes will lost after updated the theme.

Hi,
The Advanced Search 4 module overrides the prestashop’s native way of filtering products, which caused the problem.
I fixed it for you by adding this function to the Theme editor module to make it be compatible with the A4 module.public function hookActionProductSearchAfter($params){ $vals = $this->getStBasicVals(); $this->context->smarty->assign('sttheme', $vals['smarty_val']); return ; }
Rrgards,
JonnyJonny, thank you!!!
It works fine.
But there is left a showing of all the products from catalogue after switching off filtering products and pushing a pagination button. Despite staying in some exact category, anyway, it shows all the items from the catalogue.
Is it a bug with the filter, or it could be fixed somehow?

Hi,
Please open the /modules/stthemeeditor/stthemeeditor.php file in a text editor, and put the following code in it, see attached screenshot.public function hookActionProductSearchAfter($params){ $vals = $this->getStBasicVals(); $this->context->smarty->assign('sttheme', $vals['smarty_val']); return ; }
Then transplant the “Theme editor” module to the “actionProductSearchAfter” hook.

Send the problem to the module’s developers to see if they can figure it out. Let me know the result.
Jonny, thank you for the support on this topic!
Unfortunately support of the module is expired.
