Hi,
I would like to have a footer with google map, facebook, contact info. But I only want it for my home-page. I do not want other pages (products) to be flooded with too much info. Is it possible?
Is it possible to switch content hooks for different pages? E.g. say that I want header only for the index and category and not for checkout, product, search, account etc in general?
Thank you in advance,
david
Hi,
@alwayspaws, after I get the url, I will put the CSS code here, as different url and content will use different CSS code.
Best regards.
Hi,
I am worried that CSS solution would not be ideal because it would load the content anyway and then block it in the browser. I planned to put Google map and Facebook page and they are both external and quite slow already. So the idea was: 1. not to distract the client by unrelated content once on product page, but 2. also speed the site up. I think server side (PHP) solution would be better to address point 2.
I hope to be able to accomplish it by Visual Composer (Show All Page – NO :: Show on Homepage – YES) which seems to provides such functionality (I hope it is not just a CSS trick). If that won’t be possible I will keep my footer lean for homepage too (no maps, no facebook page).
However, I need to finish my footer first and thus need a hand with issue described here https://www.sunnytoo.com/forums/topic/stacked-footer-not-showing-up#post-12377.
Site is archery.sk
Thank you in advance,
David
