It looks like Custom css only works when you have just a little bit of code. In my case css at the beginning works but the rest is ignored.
I have attached a customer-s1.css file as has been made by my ST-themeeditor module.
Note also the “\r\n”s in the code. I am working under MS Windows and it looks like the linefeeds aren’t correctly handled. Note also that the last line is more than 6000 chars long.
I am using Thirty Bees 1.08 with Panda 1.4.5
I am working on localhost on a computer that is not used as server for the internet. The shop will later be copied to an internet server. So it is impossible for me to give you access.
I had enclosed the concerned file. You can easily check what I described.
Attached on this message I have the css that I inserted in the custom css box. Note that it is only 1187 bytes while the last line in the customer-s1.css file is more than 6000 bytes long. This suggests that each time I save something in the custom css box it is added to what was previously saved – instead of replacing it.
Attached you will find customer-s1.css after I have emptied the custom css field in the backoffice. It doesn’t look very healthy to me.
I am working on Chrome – the most used browser on the planet. On your request I tried Firefox too: no difference.
BTW: I see those \r\n’s too after I have saved the custom css. See attachment.
You are making me mad. I know there is no problem with the CSS. I know there are \r\n’s. Please tell me something I don’t know. And stop those helpdesk tricks that aim to exhaust people without actually helping them in the hope that they give up!
Hi,
It seems the issue was due to your server settings, my themes didn’t encode the \r\n, please try creating online dev site, I will help you identify and resolve the issue.
Did you try to disable the “Use HTMLPurifier Library” option under BO > Preference > general? see attached screenshot.
Best regards.
“Did you try to disable the “Use HTMLPurifier Library” option under BO > Preference > general? see attached screenshot.”
Yet again one of those “keep them busy so that I don’t have to do anything” nasty helpdesk tricks. Who are you kidding? I have been working with Prestashop for 8 years. We both know that this won’t work.
“It seems the issue was due to your server settings”
That is what I have been saying all the time. However, I have a standard Windows 10 – XAMPP installation which are both fresh and with default settings. So in my opinion this is an environment where software should be expected to work.
“please try creating online dev site”
What is the idea? If it works online it still might not work on my development computer.
Hi,
Please try turning the Magic Quotes: http://php.net/manual/en/security.magicquotes.disabling.php, then clear all \r\n in the custom css code and save it to check whether it works fine. as I can’t connect to your localhost, so I have to try some solutions.
Best regards.
