Hello,
I use a module to select the type of transport that offers the customer the free choice of day and time delivery.
This module is based on the postal code of the shipping address.
When you are a registered customer, it works perfectly. But when the order is placed without being previously registered, when entering the delivery address, nothing happens. The carriers do not appear.
(I’m currently using it in my prestashop 1.6 with Transformer theme, perfectly.
There, carriers appear when the customer clicks on “SAVE” button in the address delivery form, in the OPC form.)
I need to offer the possibility of fast ordering to the customer, with a direct registration, without being previously registered, since the shipment will be to another person, not to himself.
Can you check why it happens?
Thank you
The problem is that when a user is not registered, when entering the delivery address, the module does not appear.
I think it is because there is no SAVE button address, so it does not refresh and nothing happens. It’s possible?
This does not happen with customers with registered addresses, as you can check.
Please check this thread.
The test client account that I sent you, already has a saved address. You already checked it and the carrier that I have created a test along with the delivery date selection module appeared. (You can see your answer a little higher)
What is the problem? That if a customer is not registered and enters the same delivery address at checkout, the carrier does not appear.
Could it be because that address is not saved in the system at the moment? Normally there is a save address button, but this form does not appear so transport is not regenerated.
I spent two hours on trying to integrate the “myOwnDeliveries” module, but still have’t found a way yet.
Check the “Delivery Dates Wizard Pro” by Musaffar Patel, https://addons.prestashop.com/en/delivery-date/20307-delivery-dates-wizard-pro.html
it’s very similar as the “myOwnDeliveries”, it can be integrated with easycheckout module, check the “Delivery Dates Wizard Pro” section under the Compatibility tab on this page https://www.sunnytoo.com/product/easycheckout-one-page-checkout-module-prestashop-1-7
If you have to use the “myOwnDeliveries” module, let me know, I will try again.
