Hi,
I upgraded theme + prestashop 2 weeks ago, and since then I have some issues with the prestashop Mail Alerts module:
1. Broken layout in my account (see printscreen 1 and 2)
2. Position of the module on the product page changed (see printscreen 2 and 3). I tryed to change module position, but I think a new hook must be added to the module..
3. There is no way to set an alert for out of stock products – not even if you are loged in. You only get “Your e-mail address is invalid” in any situation, with any e-mail adress you enter
4. Click on “My alerts” from customer account sends to a 500 error page (printscreen 5)
You installed the wrong module, it’s for 1.6.
This is the one for 1.7 https://github.com/PrestaShop/ps_emailalerts I’ve installed it for you.
Hi,
Thank you. But there is still an issue – I installed that versione of the module becouse since the last upgrade, clients are not able to set alerts for out of stock products – see printscreen.
They always receive the “email adress is invalid” error.. Can you check?
And I still don’t receive e-mail alerts for now orders..
Thank you!
There is also a small issue that I have since May, when a had to rebuild my shop – I am stuck with a development name instead of the shop name. When a client is placing an order, he gets a “Your order on Test is send”.
The word “Test” is showed as the name of the shop instead of the real name of the shop.. even in theme modules and client emails. How to change that? See printscreens..
The name of the shop is set ok in Prestashop backoffice (see last printscreen).
