Hi!
I recently sent a message using the contact form relating this issue but I thought it might be better to post it here.
The issue that I have is that the price showing in the slider didn’t match with the price of the products. I could set the filter with a lower value of 55 and still see products with a price of 50.
I thought the issue was that the price of the object was not being properly read but I noticed that the issue is that the price of the object is read without any discount. This is not an issue if the product is on sale because the customer will see that the price of the product is modified but when the discount is done in a user group then the issue appears. When you define a customer group with a default discount, these users will see the product with a base price different from the one of the product.
Lets say that I put all customers with a 5% discount just because they are logged-in. In this case not all product appear with a 5% discount, instead all products appear with a price 5% lower. Nonetheless the price used when filtering is not the discounted price, but the base one. In practice users will be filtering products with a price of 100 and up and they will be seeing products with a price of 95. Or they will filter products with a price up to 99 and won’t see products which cost 95 to them because the base price would be 100.
Could this be fixed?
Thanks

Thanks for your reporting. I just had a look of the problem, but it seems that I can’t fix it, because the Faceted search module doesn’t count discounts.
In your case, I suggest you contacting developers of the advanced search 4 module to see if their a4 module counts discounts when filtering products via price.
