I can’t get the filter module working properly at all.
1) Screenshot1 : The filter always appears on the left column, even though I have set it to the centre column. And no products ever appear on the page, no matter what filters you select. In this example, it says there are 10 products but none appear. And once I select a filter, you can’t clear it.
2) Screenshot2 : The url seems to be adding ID’s. Maybe this is part of the problem as I have a URL module installed which removes ID’s from the URL.
3) Screenshot 3 : Even though I have this filter set to just one page as a test, all the filter names appear at the top centre column of every page – but you can’t click on them, it’s just their names.
I have enabled magic option as I am using a custom theme.
Any idea what is wrong?
I’m on 1.7.6.5. Easy filter module v1.1.3Attachments:
They are all capability issues. Did these things to fix them.
1. Disabled the “JoliSearch : Improved Search”, you can just use one filter module at a time.
2. Generated the price indexes for you. You added a price slider, but you didn’t generate the price indexes, that’s the reason for no products showing out.
3. Check #3 in the documentation on this page https://www.sunnytoo.com/product/easy-filter-module-for-prestashop1-7
How the module already works on your site.
My colleague will soon take a look at the compatibility issue with the removing ids modules you’ve installed.Hi,
1. The JoliSearch module and my Easy filter module need to use the productSearchProvider hook to show list, but Prestashop just allows one module to use the hook, so those two modules can’t work together.
2. I checked you are using the A4 module, after filter products, there is ID in the URLs also, so I think the issue was due to your SeoPro module.
3. I can give you a piece of CSS code to remove the color easily.
Best regards. Also, if you select one or more filters without going into a product and then try and alter the filter, it works fine. But if you select a filter, go to a product, then return to the category page, there is no way to remove the filter or add any other ones. See this video: http://somup.com/cY6iYFlTg4
Here’s one example: https://www.cricket-hockey.com/en/hockey-equipment/hockey-shoes-
It’s about the url I guess, have you installed any url related modules? Did you customize the url rules on the “BO>Seo&URL” page.
After a filter is selected, the url changes from this
https://www.cricket-hockey.com/en/hockey-equipment/hockey-shoes-
to
https://www.cricket-hockey.com/en/hockey-shoes-/UK%20Shoe%20Size-10%20UK?q=UK+Shoe+Size-10+UKAs you can see the “hockey-equipment” gets removed and the query occurs twice.
If you can’t figure it out, then send us your bo and FTP login details.
