Hello,
I created an API for my client and added it to the map of the custom content module of Transformer (see captures).
The maps is showing but the is an error message (see capture) and an overlay saying “for development purposes only”. I don’t understand why because the API key is not for dev and should make the maps be displayed.
I even deleted your demo maps to be sure that the API key isn’t used.
Any idea why?
Thanks!Hi,
Did you follow the topic to get API key https://cloud.google.com/maps-platform/? it works fine on my demo sites.
Best regards.Hi,
Did you add your website to the API? see attached screenshot.

Hi,
It seems you need to create a billing account and use the API key: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/usage-and-billing
Best regards.Hi,
Do you have the possibilty not to use Google maps anymore because you have to pay now to use it.
Can you use OpenStreetMap instead? it’s free and open?

Thanks!Hello,
Unless I misunderstood, but yes, I have to enter a credit card number, they offer me $300 worth of credit and then I have to pay.
I think openstreetmap is a good open source project. You might have a look in it 😉
Or you can let the user choose google maps for those you want to have Gmap ou openstreet if you can.
