Tagged: out of stock
I tested this module:
Unfortunately, this is not at all what is required for most stores.
You must each time just run manually this module
and the module simply switch the visibility option of products with a quantity of 0 to invisible.
And what to do when the goods appear in stock again?
And if there are tens, hundreds, or even thousands?
Manually make them visible again?
It turns out this module is almost useless.
The correct solution would be for the store to simply not show in the catalog and in the search results the products with an amount equal or less than 0.
I think such a module would be in great demand.

We all know that’s the best solution, but it’s not possible, unless you do a lot of customization to your site.
I didn’t know how many people need the module, so it’s just a basic version.
The module is currently the best solution, I can improve it if people need it.
I have two ideas:
1. Make a list of all unavailable product, so you can bulk set them back to available.
2. Hook the module to productedit hook, if a product is back in stock, then it will be set to available automatically.
What do you think?
How did you manage stock? By using the back office, csv files or other tools?
