Hi,
Please view the documentation:http://transformer2.sunnytoo.com/doc/index.php#megamenu, you can click the prev/next button to see more images, if you still don’t know how to do, I will guide you.
Best regards.
@jonny @yobo – please check my instructions for accuracy:
@sabprov Here are the notes I took when I did this step-by-step. I’m using transformer theme 3 for PS 1.6
I am only a user. If something doesn’t work, please ask Jonny or yobo. 🙂
Advanced Megamenu
Click the Main category
Click the plus sign to add a column
Fill in width – 8/12
Add a title like “Column A”
Visible on all devices
Status: Yes
Position 2 (increment the number)
Save.
You’ll see Home / Category name and under Columns you’ll see the column settings.
Click EDIT to see the settings.
Select the main category or subcategory.
Show category image – no (until your site is fully configured and then you can add one if you want)
Menu item: Sub-categories
Items per row: 3
Levels, item limit and sub-item limit: 0 (for no limits)
Display them when mouse over their parent menu items.
Open in a new window and no follow: NO.
Status: YES
Position 2 (or wherever the category will be on the top menu)
SAVE
Next, to Add new sub-subcategories to your top nav menu
Go to
Catalog – Categories – click the main category.
Click the subcategory.
Click the plus sign to ADD NEW.
NOTE: YOU HAVE TO MANUALLY ADD THE PRODUCTS to the new category(ies) IF THEY ALREADY EXIST.
Enter a name for your new sub-subcategory – for example, I added “Christmas Stockings”
The “Christmas” subcategory is already selected.
Enter a description and a category cover image.
The subcategory(ies) AUTOMATICALLY SHOW Up from the above settings.
UPDATE THE IMAGE URLS if you have existing products.
USE THE ADVANCED MEGAMENU TO ADD COLUMNS FOR NEW SUBCATEGORIES.
I hope this works for all who need it.
Stephanie
Hi,
@alwayspaws, thanks for your guide so clearly, and I will set my documentations for transformer 3 and panda 1 be online ASAP.
Best regards.
Hi, @yobo. Thank you! I’m glad it is useful. I’m looking forward to the online documentation because I’m not always on the desktop where I can access it from the theme folder. I like to study up on things. 🙂
Thank you, @yobo!
