Tagged: delete welcome about us support
Hi,
I seach about 1 Hour the way to delete this message:
“WELCOME TO THE TRANSFORMER DEMO STORE,
Transformer theme is an elegant, powerful and fully responsive prestashop theme with modern design. Suitable for every type of store.”
from the home page.
The Transformer theme 4.0.9 on Prestashop 1.7.2.4.
I read this documentation
http://transformer2.sunnytoo.com/doc/index.php#hook_into_hint
Theme settings -> Homepage but still don’t understand ho can I delete the greetings at the home page.
Why it’s so hidden?
The documentation is not enough detailed.
Also it’s very uncomfortably to configure the Transformer 4.0.9 modules in Prestashop 1.7.2.4.
After configuration saving I must every time again search for the sunnytoo modules.
Can you make navigation between the sunnytoo modules?
Best regards, Viaceslav.
So, after many hours of searching, finally I found the hidden place for the Welcome message at the home page.
Module “Advanced custom content” (hidden name of this module is steasycontent).
There you must find and disable the hook shown on “Full width top 2”.
Unbelievable hidden. It’s not normally. And the documentation is too poor. I am very disappointed.
Only after researching of the source codes I was available step by step to find this place.
Best regards, Viaceslav.
Hi,
Thanks. we will add full module name to each block in order to find the module quickly. you can use developer tools to inspect the module in the current versions(not the full module name). see attached screenshots. I will explain how to find the module:
1. Use the developer tool to inspect the block, you will find easycontent_3, easycontnet_9, multilink_2, multilink_3 and so on. the easycontent = steasycontent, multilink = stmultilink, that is party module name, the number of 3, 9, 2 is the row ID on the module settings page.
2. How to access to module quicky: open a module setting page, then replace the value of configuring to the module name, for example, configure=steasycontent, configure=stmultilink and so on, that will show the module configure page, see attached screenshot.
Best regards.
