Hello
I have 2 question …
1-Why if i put an image or section (megamenu column)
Visible on large devices (screen width > 992px)
Then the image is loaded and with these the mobile
version is heavy.2-how can i implement the “lazy-loading offscreen”
For example

images n megamenuThanks a lot !!!!!!
1. For devices which are about the same size as iPad, they use desktop version when in landscape, mobile version in portrait, that’s why we keep both versions.
I will do an improvement in next theme update to don’t load menus for desktop version when the “Use mobile header” setting is set to “All mobile devices” in the Theme editor module.2. I’ve added a feature in the v2.4.7 for to don’t load off screen banners, slider images and product images. Check this demo http://panda2.sunnytoo.com/en/
But I don’t have plans to implement the same feature to the menu module, because of two reasons:
a) Generally, menu is on the top part of every site.
b) When a user mouse hovers a menu item, the user won’t wait for images in the menu item to load.Hello Jonny
Thanks for the answer !!!1- Nice 😉 !!! , the problem is that if i put an image in menu , then this image load in mobile verion , even if it is not seen or used or deactivated.+
2- Yes today i saw in new release 🙂
I use LIGHTHOUSE and PS to test it https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/lighthouse/blipmdconlkpinefehnmjammfjpmpbjk
https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?hl=es&url=http%3A%2F%2Fpanda2.sunnytoo.com%2Fen%2F
a) Doesn´t matter if we could deactivate image and they do not load for mobile devises.
b) Yes , okThanks for all !!!

Your site is quite special, it starts with several banner groups, the height for images which don’t have “src” attribute is 0, which causes the lazy loading feature getting triggered at the very beginning, I never thought about that.
Here is a quick fix, put it to the Custom css code field in the Theme editor module.
#banner_container_8 .st_banner_lazy_image{height:600px;}.st_banner_lazy_image{height:350px;}
Most images on that list are from the menu module, applying the fix can remove about 5 banner images from the list.
Actually I added lazy-loading feature for banner module in v 2.4.3. The lazy-loading offscreen feature added in v2.4.7 is major for product sliders and the swiper module.

1. You didn’t put the code I sent to the Custom css code field.
#banner_container_8 .st_banner_lazy_image{height:600px;}.st_banner_lazy_image{height:350px;}
2. The reason why hidden banner images are still loaded on mobile is the same as the menu, it’s for iPad compatibility, iPad uses desktop version when in landscape, mobile version in portrait.
I will improve that in next theme update to don’t load banner images till a iPad is rotated from portrait to landscape.Hello Jonny
I still have image in mobile version
I update theme to 2.4.8
