Yes, all essential parts of the imagemagick extension have been installed, which means you can you the imagemagick module to optimize your images.

Hi,
1. Clear your browser cache to see the difference. You can take a screenshot, and then uninstall the module to regenerate images using PrestaShop’s native GD, and then take another screenshot. Comparing those two screenshots, you will find differences. With sharp images the appearance of your site will be up one level.
2. Currently the module doesn’t optimize banners, I will add the feature if people like the imagemagick module.
1. You can adjust setting to loose some weight, like decreasing JPEG compression to 70 or changing the “Blur” to 1.1.
Play with those settings till you get a balance of “good quantity” and “small size”.
