Hi,
After doing some speed and performance tests with Page Speed Insights I see that I have some problems with website loading speed, cls, fcp, etc.
I think the root of the problem is related to javascript and the vb5j_guest and vb5j_connections tables, which take the longest to execute due to the large number of records.
Some js related to video and YouTube are executed recurrently on the homepage. However, I don’t have any videos on the homepage or anything on YouTube.
Can you please guide me to solve it?
Thank you.
Hi,
1. You can use the module to clean the unused data: https://www.sunnytoo.com/product/prestashop-database-cleaner-module
2. Did you use video on other pages?
Best regards.
Hello Yobo,
Page elements are not loaded in order of appearance and this creates CLS issues.
Many of the elements that load first are not ‘above the fold’ and images are loaded last.
It doesn’t make sense for non-visible elements to be loaded first.
Is it possible to correct it so that the elements are loaded in order of appearance on the page?
Thanks.
Ok Yobo,
I have some doubts. Let’s go step by step.
1- I’m already using varnish cache from my hosting provider. Is it worth using your advanced page cache module for PrestaShop together? Will it speed up the web and decrease TBT??
2- I think GZIP does not work correctly, checking with chrome it does not appear in ‘network>xhr>response headers>content-encoding’ and pingdom tools gives me an F score. However, Apache optimization is enabled and at the end of the .htaccess the code fragment of your recommendations appears. How can I fix that?
3- There are some errors related to site.webmanifest on all the pages of my website. Please see attached screenshot. How can i fix it?
Thanks.
Hi,
1. You can try it. you also can add a CDN such cloudflare to speed up the site.
2. Please take a look at the topic to add the gzip to compress the content.
3. I added the “webmanifest” to the /upload/.htaccess file to resolve the problem.
Best regards.
