Hi,
If you just want to solve the GDPR compatibility, @socket_spb was right https://www.sunnytoo.com/forums/topic/loading-google-fonts-locally/#post-20113, you just download google fonts to your server. as it isn’t any needs to modify the themes.
Best regards.
I don’t understand the last step
“And unplug(remove) all Google fonts in BO, after put the header file.tpl your local fonts.”
I suppose I select “Default font” in the backoffice of the theme. But what do I need to change in the header.tpl
Would it not be easier to add a switch to the BO “Use google font locally” ?
Hi, as there are massive wave of cease and desist letters now going on in Europe, this topic becomes current again.
Is there a way to not load the fonts dynamically from the google servers but instead host them locally at the shop’s server?
Edits: sorry, haven’t seen page 2. Still, are there any new ways for that? Maybe an option to automate this?
Hi,
Please see the documentation: http://panda2.sunnytoo.com/doc/index.php#custom_font, but it is huge work to download and include all google fonts.
Best regards.
