Hi,
I integrated the Friendly URLs module to be compatible with your TB, but there are some links were redirected by your 301 module, see the blog categories block on the page: https://www.narjis-pro.com/blog/tresors-d-argan-vous-souhaite-une-bonne-et-heureuse-annee-2019.html, I didn’t find where I can resolve it, please contact the module developer.
Best regards.Hi,
Regarding the redirection of links, everything is OK and now functional, (image, category, blog etc …)
Compared to the 301 error, this is normal, I use a module for redirecting old URLs to new URLs, the link of the blog was included, something now set.
My questions:
All old URLs do not arrive on the new URL:
Example: https://www.narjis-pro.com/sublim-huile/158-sublim-huile-frangipanier-1-litre.html redirects to the homepage (programmed in the module), but not to the new URL that should be https://www.narjis-pro.com/sublim-huile/sublim-huile-frangipanier-1-litre.html
To avoid this, must you activate the canonical URL of the module? Will this solve the problem? Or do I have to redirect all the old URLs to the new URLs?That’s it, I just redirected all the old URLs to news in back office and from MySql.
The sitemap has been generated and sent to Google. An idea of improvement for the module would be to be able to choose more in the section Display 404 page or not:
– Yes, show 404 page
– No, redirect to a category page
OR choose the old URL that would automatically be redirected to the newThis would not do everything manually, and most certainly prevent errors from Google on important pages redirected either on a Category or Error 404.
Hi,
Thank you for your return, unfortunately, the redirection of Urls manual is not feasible either.
For example, I have a URL redirection module currently installed allowing me to redirect old URLs, with a different ID on the current URL, much more convenient than going through a .htaccess
However, with your module, my URL redirection module or no URL is taken into account, they are now all redirected to the home page, the basic category chosen in your module or I have the choice of only choose any category or page 404.
I can no longer customize with my module an external URL redirection, which is very annoying.Hi,
So sorry, I misunderstood your mean. as I saw you used a 3rd party Clear URLs module before, so your old URLs are not same as the default ones, I thought you want to redirect all those old URLs to the new ones.
On my Friendly URL module, it can redirect all old normal URLs to the new ones automatically, you don’t need to add any URLs to the .htaccess file. as you used the old URLs module, so I upgrade it to the latest version, now the redirection works fine, see the link:
https://www.narjis-pro.com/sublim-huile/158-sublim-huile-frangipanier-1-litre.html that will redirect to https://www.narjis-pro.com/sublim-huile/sublim-huile-frangipanier-1-litre.html automatically.
Best regards.Hi,
I come back to you because I meet again the same initial concern.
The CMS URLs are not correctly redirected … for example, Mode de livraison in the footer, all CMS links end up with “?categories =” which generates an error and redirects to the home page, very very annoying!
How to solve this problem?
