Hi,
Please see the following topic to ensure your hosting support the webp:
https://www.sunnytoo.com/forums/topic/webp-module-installation-problem#post-44244
https://www.php.net/manual/en/image.installation.php
Best regards.
I was doing tests and I could find a possible solution
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3901455/the-dreaded-warning-imagecreatefromjpeg-tmp-filename-is-not-a-valid-jpe
Me code :
$newimg = substr($imgPath, 0, strrpos( $imgPath, ‘.’ ) ).’-‘.stripslashes($imageType[ ‘name’ ] ). ‘.jpg’;
$newimgw= imagecreatefromstring(file_get_contents($newimg));
imagewebp($newimgw,$webp);
using your code and this didn’t work
$newimg = substr($imgPath, 0, strrpos( $imgPath, ‘.’ ) ).’-‘.stripslashes($imageType[ ‘name’ ] ). ‘.jpg’;
$ image = imagecreatefromjpeg ($ newimg);
imagewebp($newimgw,$webp);
How could I implement the override file?
I have carried out the same tests in several hosting
This failure is only happening to me on servers with Plesk Obsidian 18.0.27, on other servers this has not happened.
If I have knowledge of PHP, I have looked at your Override file, I have tried to make changes, but they have not worked.
I still have not understood how you read the thumbnail files jpg -> webp or generate the thumbnails using the main file id_image.jpg -> Webp
thanks
