Hello guys,
I want to build my store once again from the ground once the Prestashop 1.7.7.X is out. I would like to completely redesign it and use one of your themes. I’m not sure which one yet. I’ve been looking at them both for a while and I’m more convinced to use Transformer but it’s hard to say as I can’t find the difference between the two. I need it to be fast and SEO optimised (Schema, Facebook tags and Twitter cards implemented) I want to take it easy and do the job properly without a rush. So I have a few questions:
1. Can I have an access to the back office to both themes to check which one would be better for me?
2. After purchase I would like to work on the theme on my computer (localhost), once I’m happy with the outcome I would like to transfer it to my server but I’m not sure if the just copy the theme folder from my PC and pasting it to my server will do the job or I will need to do some additional work to not mess it up?
3. I would like to combine some features from the online demos and I don’t know if I will be able to achieve it:
3a. I would like to have a sticky menu with a search bar like in this demo: http://panda2.sunnytoo.com/seventh/en/home/105-439-panasonic-55-135mm-4k-video-wifi-1234567890123.html#/8-color-white/49-storage-16gb
3b. Product page look like this one: http://transformer2.sunnytoo.com/en/home/22-91-going-out-vintage-a-line-dress.html#/27-size-s/30-color-pink (3 columns at the top and below in one column product description with tabs for specifics, reviews, etc.)
3c. Category page to be like this one: http://panda2.sunnytoo.com/seventh/en/58-camera-accessories
4. Can I purchase the theme now or should I wait till you release the update which is 1.7.7.X compatible? Thanks for contacting us.
1. Their back offices are 95% similar.
2. Check these two
https://www.sunnytoo.com/license-policy
https://www.sunnytoo.com/8148/how-to-transfer-or-move-prestashop-1-7-site-to-new-server
3. Both of them have all of those 3 features.
4. You can start now. Don’t upgrade your prestashop right after the release of 1.7.7. Wait till we release new versions of our theme for 1.7.7. All work you’ve done are safe, don’t worry.Hi,
1. After you complete the configuration, please clone your prod site and install the theme on it, then export the settings from the dev site to the clone site via Theme editor > General > Demo importer. just export the settings to an XML file and import it to your clone site. that will migrate 90% configuration, but some data can’t be migrated, such as the megamenu, as most menus are relevant to the products and categories, each store has different products and category ID, you need to create menus manually.
2. Please use the “4 in 1” module, that is more rich and powerful.
3. See the blog importer module: https://www.sunnytoo.com/product/st-blog-importer-module-exporting-importing-blog-posts-via-csv-files, you need to download the template from the module, then prepare all content as the template, then you can import the blog from your extra blog module.
4. Go to BO > Theme editor > product pages tab, disable the “Google rich snippets for product” option. and modify the \themes\panda\templates\_partials\breadcrumb.tpl file to remove all schema.
Best regards.Hi,
3. You can contact the developer to change the blog to export CSV file as my sample data.
4. See 4.png, I marked the code needs to be removed.
5. Could you tell me which module? send me the backoffice access and FTP in a private reply, I will investigate it for you. you also can click the “Reset” button to reset the module to resolve the problem, as the module wasn’t installed properly.
6. I can’t see the backoffice page, please send me some screenshots to explain it.
7. I tried chrome browser, it seems that was due to the language problem. don’t use Edge to login the backoffice.
8. Go to BO > Traffics & SEO, regenerate the robots.txt file.
Best regards.Hi,
4. Sorry, I attached the image.
5. I reset the Swiper slider module for you. but you need to register the theme on the Theme editor module to use some other modules.
6. Where can I see that URLs? could you send me some screenshots to explain it?
8. Did you submit sitemap.xml file? go to the google analysis, you can see the bot crawl status.
9. It works fine on my side, see attached screenshot. maybe it was an error that due to incorrect default language.
10. Please send me the purchase code in a private reply, I will register it for you.
11. The problem was because you set the incorrect default language, I corrected it for you.
Best regards.Attachments:
Thank you yobo. Your support is absolutely amazing. I have managed to register the theme now, imported blog categories and blog post manually but now I have a problem with redirection. I did delete the old blog module. The blog post links look like that https://futurehousestore.co.uk/news/82_wi-fi-vs-zigbee-vs-z-wave.html but they should look like that https://futurehousestore.co.uk/news/wi-fi-vs-zigbee-vs-z-wave but I would be most satisfied if they all would look like the links below (or create the automatic redirect from /news/post/article_title to /news/article_title I did take my time to make sure the new articles have the same IDs as the old articles) as it would save me time redirecting the old URL to the new ones
https://futurehousestore.co.uk/news/post/wi-fi-vs-zigbee-vs-z-wave
I am able to see the main blog page which is https://futurehousestore.co.uk/news but I’m not able to visit the category pages or articles. I have tried many things but no luck.
I have also uploaded an image of the CSS errors which I would like to correct.
Thank you in advance.Attachments:
