@ruslanduser Please let me know details, so I can see what’s wrong. What’s the version of your TB.
@armindel66 I’ve added the feature in my development version, it will be released in the next theme update.
Panda theme v1.5.0 for thirtybees is released, check changelog on this page https://www.sunnytoo.com/product/panda-creative-responsive-prestashop-theme
Hi Jonny,
I just bought Panda to use with TB v1.1. I got the theme installed and did the theme upgrade to 1.5. Everything seems to have worked as expected.
I would like to base my store design around Demo #7, the two column camera shop. I tried to use the “one click demo importer” to import the design for #7 but I’m not sure it imported correctly. It changed the basic layout of the store to two columns but none of the colors or fonts changed. The result looks quite badly broken, and I was unable to restore the original basic design. Thankfully I took an entire site backup not long before doing the “one click demo import” so I was able to restore that way.
Is the importer only supposed to change the basic layout but not change any of the colors or fonts?
Cheers!
Hi @jonny,
In Panda this remove from cart x is defined with the class
icon-cancel
:However in the standard Thirty Bees 1.1.0 Niara theme the same remove from cart x is defined as
icon-remove
. This means that third party modules (such as a one page checkout module) expect to be able to useicon-remove
for this symbol, but currently the Panda theme does not defineicon-remove
.Could you add
icon-remove
to the Panda theme, defined the same asicon-cancel
is currently defined?Thank you!
Ian
Hi @jonny,
Is this the right place to request new features for Panda on Thirty Bees? Should new threads be made for each of these requests instead?
More and more commerce is taking place on mobile devices instead of computers, as I am sure you know. It varies by country but there are a good number of countries now where more online purchases are made by mobile phone than by computer. This trend seems likely to continue and probably even accelerate. With this in mind I’d really like to see improvements to how Panda works on mobile phones and tablets.
Here are some of the changes I would love to see:
1. Better control of the header, as discussed by @vsurfer in this thread.
In addition to what is mentioned there, I would like to have the option to have the mobile bar scroll up & off the screen when users scroll down the page. Keeping the mobile bar always visible at the top of the screen takes up a lot of space on an already small screen.
I’d like to be able to define a separate logo for mobile devices. Desktop logos are often quite big and a mobile logo needs to be more compact to make it better fit into the limited space in the mobile bar.
When users are not logged in (guests), I’d like to be able to put a LOGIN link up there. When they are logged in I’d like to put an ACCOUNT link up there instead of the LOGIN link.
2. More control over the hamburger menu. For example, allowing the shop owner to set how wide the hamburger menu is. Making it wider would allow more text to be displayed there. Also allowing the shop owner to control the pop-out style. Right now it slides the whole screen sideways but if I had a choice I would sooner it slides out on top of the current screen rather than having the current screen move.
3. Better category browsing. The current system with the categories link in the bottom bar is not intuitive for users. It would be great to have a CATEGORIES link in the hamburger menu and have that pop out the category browse menu. As with the hamburger menu, being able to easily set the width and pop-out style of the categories menu would be great.
4. I’d really like to see have the ability to completely remove the bottom bar and move those functions to the hamburger menu. The bottom bar takes up screen space (small screens…) and it’s not really a standard feature for today’s mobile sites.
I’m sure I will think of some more feature requests as well, and I would love to have some debate & discussion with other Panda users about the best way to move the theme forward, especially for mobile visitors.@hobday Ian, I’m trying to reach you. Can you please see my private message on TB?
