Hey,
I try to change the position for elements in stacked footer but it doesn’t work. If there are only custom contents or only custom links, no problems. But with the both (Custom contents + Custom links), it is impossible. How to proceed?
(Screenshot: I try to invert the two elements > E-mail element before Aide & contact element)
Thanks.
Hi,
There are two ways to change positions:
1. Go to BO > Improved > Design > Positions, locate to the “displayFooterStack1”, you can drag module name to change module position, which is use to changes positions in each modules.
2. On module settings page, such as the “Advanced custom content” module and the “Custom links” module and so on, there is a “position” field, you can change the value of the position to change positions for blocks in a module.
But it is impossible to insert the other module content between two blocks that are from the same module in a hook, for example, there are a “Content A” block and “Content B” block that are from the “Advanced custom content” module in the displayFooterStack1 hook, you can’t insert a “Custom link” block between the “Content A” and “Content B”.
But I still want a “Custom Link” block between them, how can I do ? it is very easy to solve it, just move the “Content B” block to show on the “displayFooterStack2”, then you can add “Custom link” to show on then “displayFooterStack1”, and change position of “Custom link” module after the “Advanced custom content” module. that’s all.
If I didn’t explain it clearly, please send me your site url privately, I will send you some screenshots to clarify it.
Best regards.
Hi,
Thanks for this full reply! It worked perfectly. It helped me. 😉
I used the position field, but it didn’t work at all. So I played with the “Display on” field: I changed from the “Stacked footer (Column 2)” to the “Stacked footer (Colum 1)” and saved. Then, I came back: I changed from the “Stacked footer (Column 1)” to the “Stacked footer (Colum 2)” and saved > it worked! The change of position take effect… Strange…
