Hi Yobo and Jonny,
We’re having some problems when trying to change/set the lenguage in which the emails are sent. I have tried to do everything that prestashop says and even looking your forums trying to find a solutions but I can’t quite find it. I think it has to be the Theme, because of the assigments it does to the emails templates. I want all of the emails send to the Me or the client who buys a product to be in Spanish, when I even try to change the lenguage of the subject I get an Error (you have a screenshot in the Attachments) it’s like if prestashop where looking for the translations in other folder and not in the one made by Transformer. I will send you the BackOffice information of the client, because I don’t have much time to do this. So please if you can fix this problem as soon as possible, it would be much appreciated. I will send you the BackOffice information in a private reply.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
It seems there isn’t write permission. you can translate files in /themes/transformer/mails/es folder. if it still can’t work, try modifying files in /mails/es folder. with regards to the stnewsletter and stwishlist, it is the same issue. just copy /modules/stnewsletter/mails/en to es and /modules/stwishlist/mails/en to es, that warning will be gone.
Best regards.
Hi, I installed prestashop 1.7.6.4 and transformer theme 4 (I did not update from prestashop 1.6, I deleted everything and redone it again, to avoid any kind of problem). I followed the instructions to translate the order status emails, and they are displayed correctly in the BO. The problem is that the emails that customers receive are not the same as the ones I edited and that are correctly displayed in the BO.
I checked files in FTP and in “mails” folder there are the two languages folders, “en and “it”, that contain the correct email files .txt and .html, then there is a folder “themes” that contains “classic” and “modern” folders, and each one have a “core” folder that contains email files in html.twig format.
Could you please explain me why the emails that customers receive are different from what I see on BO?
Thank you in advance
