Tagged: multistore
Hi,
I have fresh new installation of Prestashop 1.7 + Trasformer v4 (as recommended in the other thread). I am trying multistore (archery.sk and test-sk.archery.sk) feature and it is not working as expected.
When I set “All shops” and do any changes in Theme editor (e.g. background color) I would expect that the change will me made to all shopes. However, it is not done on any nothing changes (even after smart cache flush). I have to do the change for each store individually, then the setting is stored but only for the selected shop. However, that is not what I want, because it is too much work to have two stores look a like.
I tried a workaround with theme export from store one and then import to store two. Some of the settings are nicely copied, but not all. For example setting of mega-menu is not exported to XML.
Do I have wrong expectations or the Theme is not 100% multi-store ready?
Thank you,
David
Hi,
The theme is compatible Prestashop multi stores properly, my demos sites are in Prestashop multi store with one installation. as it requires to deal with different cache files for each store, so it is impossible to configure stores on the “All stores”, you need to configure them on each store.
The demo theme exporter is a good idea to copy store, as the demo importer is for my demo site to the store of clients, so I exclude the mega menus, which are different with my demo stores and the stores of clients.
Best regards.
