See attached pic, those two checkboxes are important, they decide how the newly added address will be used.
I guess most of your customers didn’t change them, they are both checked by default.
I thought using two “Add new address” one for delivery one for invoice would be a little bit redundant, so I used those two checkboxes instead.
For example, an address named “Address A” is used as Delivery address and Invoice address, if you indent to change the address for a little to use it as Invoice address, your changes will be applied to the Delivery address too.
That’s logically correct, check the default checkout page, it’s the same way.
I would be odd to create a new address every time when an address is edited.
So I though a better solution would be that adding a extra button there called “Save as a new address”, so there will be two buttons in a row “Save” and “Save as a new address”, what do you think?
Now I understand how it works!!! You have to introduce a new adress to set it as INVOICE ADRESS, I was trying to modify the exiting DELIVERY ADRESS. I have to say that’s confusing but I gess it is how Prestashop works. In my opinion would be easy with one delivery adress and one invoice adress. That’s fine.
Now we are talking about it, two more things:
1) In my opinion it would be nice to include a SAVE button when you fill the adress for the first time, at the end of the column. I think would be more clear. It is not clear. You could see at the video I send you on min 00:32
2) There is a small error I think it has to be fixed. IF you set TYPE OF CUSTOMER as particular on delivery adress, then if you want to set TYPE OF CUSTOMER as company on INVOICE ADRESS the fields NAME OF COMPAMY and VAT NUMBER OF COMPANY doesn’t appear.
Hi! I’ve updated.
It seems to be OK except that I think it doesn’t save the INVOICE ADREESS when you do purchase.
It’s only a suggestion but I think it would be a good idea to have a SAVE button after the direction information. It doesn’t appear when you entry at the first time on the checkout page.
