Hi,
I need my products images to be much larger. I have 920*1380 px images for my products, but when I use both jqzoom and/or fancybox, the zoom is very bad.
I even changed the image sizes in BO but made a little difference in jqzoom and no difference in thickbox. I read some articles and changed /themes/panda/js/product.js file to the following, but no big difference:
//set jqZoom parameters if needed
if (typeof(jqZoomEnabled) !== ‘undefined’ && jqZoomEnabled)
{
// var jqzoom_ins = $(‘.jqzoom’).jqzoom({
// zoomType: (typeof(zoom_type)!=’undefined’ && (zoom_type==’standard’ || zoom_type==’innerzoom’)) ? zoom_type : ‘standard’, //innerzoom/standard/reverse/drag
// zoomWidth: 920, //zooming div default width(default width value is 200)
// zoomHeight: 1380, //zooming div default width(default width value is 200)
// xOffset: 21 //zooming div default offset(default offset value is 10)
// yOffset: 0,
// title: false
// });
// $(window).resize(function() {
// });
}
I need the product image size, the thickbox size and the zoom to look like this:

How should I do this?

Hi,
1. You are using Panda v1, the lightbox feature exists on Panda v2 only. Panda v1 uses FancyBox, you can customize it for a little bit to have a similar feature.
Add this code ‘fitToView’ : !st_is_mobile_device, to /themes/transformer/js/product.js file, right after this ‘closeEffect’ : ‘elastic’, See attached picture.
2. The zoom works exactly like Panda v2.

Hi,
I added the code but nothing changed. Maybe I did something wrong?
1. Do I have to Enable Thickbox, in Theme Editor?
2. Do I have to Use jquery or Fancybox in BO->Preferences->Products->Product Page
3. Is there anything I have to change in BO->Preferences-> Images, like default image sizes for thickbox_default or thickbox_default_2x or anything else?
4. Do I have to change zoomWidth in the following code in /js/product.js?
//set jqZoom parameters if needed
if (typeof(jqZoomEnabled) !== ‘undefined’ && jqZoomEnabled)
{
// var jqzoom_ins = $(‘.jqzoom’).jqzoom({
// zoomType: (typeof(zoom_type)!=’undefined’ && (zoom_type==’standard’ || zoom_type==’innerzoom’)) ? zoom_type : ‘standard’, //innerzoom/standard/reverse/drag
// zoomWidth: 458, //zooming div default width(default width value is 200)
// zoomHeight: 458, //zooming div default width(default height value is 200)
// xOffset: 21, //zooming div default offset(default offset value is 10)
// yOffset: 0,
// title: false
// });
// $(window).resize(function() {
// });
Sorry for asking many questions. This product zooming is critical for my shop. Can’t sell without it, and thank you for your help.
Best Regards
