Hi.
I bought and installed the module, but it does not work for me. I’m using Prestashop 1.7.5.1 and the theme you can check here: https://themeforest.net/item/at-oreo-prestashop-174x-theme-for-fashion-clothing-bags-shoes-accessories/22734371
After installing the module, as it didn’t show, I checked the documentation. The point 1 (Click on the “Register this module to the displayHeader hook” at the bottom of “Faceted search with price range slider” module’s configuration page) does not seem to be for my version. I don’t see that button.
I tried the point 2, both clicking on the button and editing the code directly in \themes\your-theme-name\templates\catalog\_partials\facets.tpl
Of course, I cleaned cache (actually it’s off in my prestashop as I’m still working on it), I rebuilt all the indexes and prices, I reseted the modules, I tried everything, but it never showed in the web. I have attached an image. On the left the filters and on the right what it shows in the page. I checked the HTML to make sure it was not hidden by CSS…
I don’t know what else I can do. I hope you can help.
Thanks.
Jose.
Hi again.
Your module “Price range slider for faceted search” was working fine.
But today I had to reindex the module ps_facetedsearch. This made your module “Price range slider for faceted search” disapear. I deactivate the module but prices are not showing as a filter. I didn’t change anything or upload new modules, I just reindexed.
Also, if I deactivate “Price range slider for faceted search” I don’t see the normal Price Filter. Therefore I can not filter by price.
The version of Prestashop is 1.7.5.1, the ps_facetedsearch is v2.2.0 and “Price range slider for faceted search” is v1.0.4, the same as before.
Could you please help on this?
Thanks
That’s a problem of the Faceted search module v2.
The price filter will disappear if the prices are very close to each other in a small range, that’s exactly your case. The price of most of your products is about $10~$20.
See attached pic, I made the price filter show out by setting a product to be $113 to show you the problem.
Two solutions for you.
1) Upgrade your faceted search module to v3, you need to ask if your theme support faceted search v3. V3 has price slider feature built-in.
2) Use “Faceted search with price range slider” instead. https://www.sunnytoo.com/product/prestashop-price-slider-module-adding-price-range-slider-faceted-search
Thanks for the answer.
As the website is not finished, I will ask the owner if they will have products more expensive (I checked, and a product which costs 27€ makes the slider show).
If not, I will try to upgrade to v3 or try your module “Faceted search with price range slider”. About this module, can you confirm it works if prices are close? For example from 5 to 20 euros?
Regards.
