I updated Panda in a webshop from 1.4.6 to 1.5.2. My problem is that the $hook_top hook has changed place. It used to be on de top of the page (inside header_top_right) but now its content comes further down in the code (inside header_right). This means in my shop that what used to be a bar on top is now a chaotic heap of text at the top right side.
I am using Thirty Bees 1.1.
I’ve added the updated css code to the theme editor module.
See attach pics, I need your FTP access to remove customizations you did to the userinfo and the cart module. It’s possible to achieve the same result as before without those customizations.
Another thing is to modify the usp module to hook it to the top.
1. See attached 1577 and 1578, removed some codes your added to the /themes/panda/modules/blockcart_mod/views/templates/hook/blockcart.tpl file.
2. Added this code to the \modules\noviusp\noviusp.php file.
public function hookDisplayNavLeft($params)
{
return $this->hookdisplayTopColumn($params);
}
3. Edited the /themes/panda/modules/noviusp/views/templates/hook/usp.tpl for a little. I created a backup file, you can compare theme to see the two changes I did.
4. I also removed your customization from the /themes/panda/modules/blockuserinfo_mod/views/templates/hook/ file.
.login.top_bar_item{font-weight:bold;}
.header_item .icon-phone{color:#f2821f;}
I’ve added the above to your theme editor module, but they current don’t work because your site uses the customer-s1.css file which modified by you.
I found the way of how your customize your site was wrong.
1) Don’t edit the customer-s1.css, it will be overridden every time when you save the Theme editor module.
For example if you want to change the menu background, then use the “Main menu background” setting under the “Menu” tab in the Theme editor module, I’ve done that for you this time.
2) Don’t put code to the global.css, put your custom css code to the theme editor module, in that way your code will be safe when you upgrade your theme.
3) Don’t copy all js/css/tpl files to the /themes/panda/modules/ folder, just copy the ones you need to customize.
