Many of my customers called/emailed me these days with those info:
“I’ve clean my browser cache, and tried again this morning few times, but it looks like the webshop doesn’t want to ship to France :
“Unfortunately, there are no carriers available for your delivery address. ».
Usually i can chose the « pick-up to shop » option for you to have access to my order, then you send me a paypal link including the international shipping cost. But this time I can’t find the pick-up option! Maybe that the problem ?
I tried to pay with « paypal checkout » yellowish button link at the bottom of the cart page. It looked like it worked (asking many security checks) then when I hit the final payment button on paypal pop up window, it sends me back to the screen shot page attached to this email, with devilry method issue.”So the problem is not only to FR but also to other countries like Poland etc.
I was not able to replicate the issue but it seems that only customers who already have account in our webshop are having the issue. So I assume it has something to do with old adresses or something. Or new customers didn’t bother to call/write to us … However the sell dropped down so …
The zones are fine. The carriers are fine. Countries are fine as well. There were no changes in the matter and it all worked and somethimes still works.
Okay, so we found that the problem is with the customers who already have accounts.
When they delete all the adresses from their profile – and then fill them again during the checkout – they are able to place and order and there’s no error message. So can someone help with this? We didn’t have the issue before installing easy chechout module few days ago …
Thank you in advance!
Hi, have you read my posts at all? I believe you haven’t got an account on my webshop before…
I wrote that the problem seems to be only with the accounts that had created accounts before I installed the module.
So they have to delete all their saved adresses and create new ones in the chechout to be able to choose any carriers.I wrote it twice in my posts … So it is quite obvious that you, as a “new” customer without created account yet, don’t see any issue in the checkout….
Also, I wrote: many customers from different countries – so how could it be connected with my browser ? Especially when I wrote: I was not able to replicate the issue.
I did the reaserch, took me two days to find where the problem is situated and I tried to explain it as detailed as I could. So please, be so kind and check it and try to help me because when my old customers can’t purchase – the module is a waste of money/time/clients for me.
Hi,
OH, so sorry, it was my fault. I tried to add some account and create addresses firstly, then install the Easy checkout module, but can’t reproduce the problem on my demo site. could you send me your backoffice access and FTP in a private reply, and give me some front accounts that can’t work so I can investigate them?
Best regards.I don’t have access to privat passwords of my customers.
For the last few days, if customer contact us that he/she is unable to proceed with the order because of this bug – we advise to delete all adresses in theirs accounts, and add them one more time. Then, they can proceed with the order. Otherwise they wouldn’t be able to.
So even if I ask for thei passwords/or check/change it in DB – it won’t give you anything, as they already made changes in theirs accounts.Which of course doesn’t solve the issue a bit – as I believe that there is just a big % of clients who doesn’t bother to contact us when there’s a bug. They just leave our shop without making a purchase….
Could you please delete attachemnts from your previous post? You have putted there for public my customers private data …
I will let you know when next customer will contact me with the issue and I won’t tell them to delete adresses, so maybe then, you will hava a better testing enviroment.
Maybe the problem occurs only when they trying to place an order on mobiles? It just came crossed my mind, but I forgot to ask them …- AuthorPosts
