Hi, I have upgraded prestashop using 1-click upgrade and now have an Error 500, I can’t access the backend, this is the error I get:
[Thu Jan 10 13:17:30.632456 2019] [php7:error] [pid 4239] [client 91.208.174.15:10800] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Symfony\\Component\\Debug\\Exception\\FatalThrowableError: Type error: Too few arguments to function PrestaShopBundle\\Security\\Admin\\EmployeeProvider::__construct(), 1 passed in /var/www/prestaeli/var/cache/prod/ContainerTpt06uq/appProdProjectContainer.php on line 1308 and exactly 2 expected in /var/www/prestaeli/src/PrestaShopBundle/Security/Admin/EmployeeProvider.php:51\nStack trace:\n#0 /var/www/prestaeli/var/cache/prod/ContainerTpt06uq/appProdProjectContainer.php(1308): PrestaShopBundle\\Security\\Admin\\EmployeeProvider->__construct(Object(PrestaShop\\PrestaShop\\Adapter\\LegacyContext))\n#1 /var/www/prestaeli/var/cache/prod/ContainerTpt06uq/appProdProjectContainer.php(1243): ContainerTpt06uq\\appProdProjectContainer->getPrestashop_Security_Admin_ProviderService()\n#2 /var/www/prestaeli/var/cache/prod/ContainerTpt06uq/appProdProjectContainer.php(994): ContainerTpt06uq\\appProdProjectContainer->getPrestashop_Adapter_Security_AdminService()\n#3 /var/www/prestaeli/vendor/symfony/symfony/src/ in /var/www/prestaeli/src/PrestaShopBundle/Security/Admin/EmployeeProvider.php on line 51
Using PHP 7.2 on a Debian machine. I cant find any other support so I was guessing it could be related to the theme I am using.
Thanks
Hi,
It seems the “1 Click upgrade” module didn’t update Prestashop successfully, please try upgrading it manually following the topic: https://www.sunnytoo.com/6996/manually-upgrade-prestashop
Best regards.
Hi,
1-click upgrade can’t work every time, that has nothing to do which theme you are using. I always upgrade demo sites manually, 28 means you are already at the latest version.
Use #2 in the “How to tell if your site got upgraded correctly? There are two ways” section on this page to check again https://www.sunnytoo.com/6996/manually-upgrade-prestashop
If the value of PS_VERSION_DB is the version that you wanted to upgrade your site to, then that means your site has been correctly upgraded, don’t worry about that 500 error.
