Transformer update v3.2.0 -> v3.4.1
URL: https://dev.zuloshishas.es/Hello,
I am trying to update Transformer from v3.2.0 to v3.4.1. The theme editor module had version v3.2.0, after the changes, clear the cache and follow the steps of the update video, v3.2.0 and not v3.4.1 still appear in the module.
Yes I have seen that the theme has undergone changes, for example, the menu on mobile. This menu does not display any menu items. Could you tell me why the version number is not updated?
Thank you,
Regards.Hi Yobo,
Thanks you. I had ti delete /modules/stthemeeditor/config_es.xml but it work ok! 🙂
But I still have the problem that it doesn’t allow me to add edit or add new elements to Megamenu. It allows me to save and takes me to the main page of the module with the error: “An error occurred during the main menu creation”.
I thought it could be due to the version that appeared in my Theme Editor, but it doesn’t matter if I don’t modify any parameter. It will give me error.

Thanks,

Thank you djly5y.
I have activated debug mode and then looked for the error “throw new PrestaShopDatabaseException ($ this-> getMsgError (). ‘<br /> <br />
'. $ Sql. '
‘);” and “Unknown column ‘link_color’ in ‘field list'”.
Also disabled the “blocklayered” module which was one of the solutions provided by the forums.
I have performed the update from v3.2.0 -> v3.4.1 directly, without any intermediate steps because I did not see that it was necessary anywhere. That won’t cause the database tables to not update, does it?
Thanks you!

It seems there is missing some column in database or its damaged. Make a backup of Your database and folder files.
WARNING. Those steps will delete all hooks and created menus but it may help You fix the problem.
Go to modules in back office and uninstall module megamenu check delete files from serwer (this can be not avalable in 1.6) option when uninstalling.
Go to Your databse and find
ps_st_mega_column
ps_st_mega_menu
ps_st_mega_menu_langAnd clear those tables.
Download template installation file and find in modules folder stmegamenu folder pack it to .zip
use module section in back office and upload the zipped file. Thanks you again djly5y! 🙂
The steps caused the site to not load and display this error now when accessing the home page. If I try it from a private navigation window it shows me the home page, but when I add to the cart I get the error that I attach.
I restored the database and files. Then I renamed config_en.xml and config.xml, unchanged. Then I used the “Delete filter” option of the module, which restores the module: it gave the same cart error again.
Isn’t there a way to upgrade version by version? Maybe someone could provide me with all these files?
Thank you,

Hi yobo,
Thank you! I am currently on vacation and have been able to get a stable internet connection for a moment.
In a few days I will return to my city and I will be able to provide you with the access data to the development environment, in which I will delete the customer data and you can test the update from scratch.
Thanks for your help,
Best regards.Hi Yobo,
Right. As I mentioned earlier, I would leave the sandbox clean so that they could try updating in the sandbox and see what was happening in the process.
I believed that this way it would be easier for you to find out what is happening. If you wish, I can update myself, but as you saw in this thread, there are many problems we are having to update.
Wouldn’t it be better to upgrade version to version?
Thank you very much,
Regards.Hi,
The update I think is not correct. If I replace the themes and modules directories, I don’t get any message in the backoffice that the modules have been updated, nor is the editor version of the theme updated (as I mentioned in this same thread).
As I have deleted the environment to start from 0, I have changed the accesses. I send it to you privately. Could I speak to the Spanish support person in Spanish to better explain my problem? I think it would be faster since I use google translate.
Thanks you 🙂
