Hi,
I knew the “Zoom is on the left side of the images in Safari and Chrome” problem, it’s a bug in the Prestashop native zoom feature, not the theme, the problem also exists in TB. I can’t fix it, because the bug is not a theme file.
To fix it, you need to edit the /js/jquery/plugins/jqzoom/jquery.jqzoom.js file..
Replace this code
smallimage.rightlimit + Math.abs(settings.xOffset) + settings.zoomWidth
by this one
parseInt(smallimage.rightlimit) + Math.abs(settings.xOffset) + parseInt(settings.zoomWidth)

Jonny
Hi, Jonny,
Now it works in Safari and Chrome but not in FireFox. Is there a different zoom module or feature in Transformer that I can use that will work with all three? Someone asked about FancyBox for something else so will FancyBox zoom in on my images, please?
If not, should I ask in thirty bees?
Thanks very much for trying to fix this PS issue, not related to Transformer.
Oh, I don’t have a mac+firefox, so I can’t reproduce the problem. It works on my Win+Firefox.
Since we disabled zoom feature on mobile, so we can use this new solution.
1. Revert the change I sent you yesterday.
2. Replace this code in the /js/jquery/plugins/jqzoom/jquery.jqzoom.js file.
this.node.leftpos = (smallimage.rightlimit + Math.abs(settings.xOffset) + settings.zoomWidth < screen.width) ? (smallimage.ow + Math.abs(settings.xOffset)) : (0 - settings.zoomWidth - Math.abs(settings.xOffset));
With
this.node.leftpos = smallimage.ow + Math.abs(settings.xOffset)
Let’s me if the new solution works.
You can let them know the problem. I guess using a better zoom plugin instead is the best solution.
Regards,
Jonny
Hi @jonny,
I tried again and used my backup copy of the original file and edited it. I confused the code the first time.
The new solution works now in all three browsers!
Thank you very much!
Stephanie
