Show products as attributes of another product module for PrestaShop 8 & 1.7. This module can show similar products in the combination section as "attributes", actually similar products are showing as links, not attributes, they just look like attributes. That's a very nice way to show similar products to your customers.
Why you need this module?
If you have several different products for different models of the same item, then you can use this module to show them as "attributes" of each other so customers can switch between them easily.
How this module works?

- Add products to the group.
- Products in the same attribute group will be shown as "Attribute" of each other.

How to install and upgrade.
This module can be installed easily without editing any files.
How to install? Use the "Upload a module" button on "BO > Modules" page to install the module.
How to upgrade? Use the "Upload a module" button on "BO > Modules" page to upload the new version to your site, it's the same as how to install, don't worry all your data will be safe, PrestaShop will just upload updated files to your site, it won't reinstall this module.

PrestaShop 8 & 1.7 doesn't have a hook between the combination section and the buy-button, so the module needs to edit the \themes\theme-name\templates\catalog\_partials\product-variants.tpl file to add a hook there. Transformer theme v4 and Panda theme v2 have the hook included by default.
Try clearing the Smarty cache.
Some themes use a completely different html structure to display attributes, the Template feature allows you to make the module fit well with your theme without editing any files. Here is a basic example.
